Dorothy’s Cocktail and Oyster Bar
Upscale restraunt that serves great cocktails and sea food.
Village and Pier
The Village area offers a wide variety of restaurants. Some of our favorites are the Porch which serves fried chicken and frose and has a great outdoor area. Palmers is a café that serves great breakfast and lunch.
Public Beach Access
During the week Coast Guard and Massengale should not be overly crowded. Weekends will be packed.
Coast Guard at the end of one of the streets on East Beach. You can park at the end of the street. It is a longer walk to beach, but a lot less crowded once on the beach. Try 5th street or higher to find parking places. Spots at end of streets are limited
Just south of King and Prince Hotel is Myrtle Street crossover to the beach. Parking very close to beach. You can walk out onto beach and usually find open spots. People there tend to be older or with small kids, tends to be quieter.
A little further down further down from there in front of St. Simons Elementary and Baptist Church are some parking spots close to the beach. You could park there or at the school or church to walk to the beach.
